And all the things that matter most disappear
Here's a toastTo erosion and corrosion, altimzers and pain Heading to the dorms Leela had been on the grounds most of the day. She had a notebook and a book, she had been reading for leisure. It was a wonderful day outside and she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take some time for herself. Hiding her self away so that way no passing thoughts could interrupt her reading. When reading she mostly let her guard down so any annoying stray thoughts could find their way to her mind easily. Grabbing on to her books she made her way thru the entrance hall not seeing anyone around. Wondering if there was some sort of standardized testing going on that she needed to know about she quickened her pace. But she wasn’t sure who’s dorm to knock on to find out, so she slowed her pace a bit. Looking around she found a couple stragglers, but she figured that maybe everyone was out side since it was a nice day. She hadn’t really been paying attention when walking in. Then again Leela could always look out her window and see if more people were outside then she remembered. Finally reaching the stairs to get up to the dorms she walked up quite loudly. And she had yet to stumble across a single person even in her mind. Which was unusual in her mind, she always picked up people at school. Finally reaching the top she saw the row of doors closed all around her. Leela was a bit surprised because there was always some sort of buzz going around in the girl’s dorms. Looking around she paused at a couple doors but decided not to knock. Seeing a door wide open she couldn’t help but rush over. Wanting to know if something freaky was going on in school but she stopped short when she heard thoughts. Memories of a hand taking things from different stores it seemed. She almost felt the rush the person was feeling but wasn’t sure if she should even confront. Although any other day she would have stormed right in she wanted to be cautious. Was someone robbing the school at gunpoint or something? Listening to the thoughts more closely she could hear a girls voice thinking. Peaking in the room she couldn’t see anyone but she could hear them it stumped her for a moment. Realizing that the situation wasn’t dangerous a small grin played across her face. “What are you doing in the wrong dorm room?”Leela telepathically asked the mysterious girl, who apparently wasn’t even in the room. But Leela knew something was going on because she could hear it and see bits of memories. Staying behind the wall she made sure that she was out of site, she didn’t want to give up her fun to easily. At the same time she wanted to make sure she didn’t upset the girl too much with the joke. Even though stealing or breaking in to others dorms probably wasn’t the best thing to do. I'VE BEEN CAUGHT STEALING ONCE WHEN I WAS FIVE I ENJOY STEALING
----------------------------------It happened again. It always happened.
Erika knew what she was doing was wrong, but she couldn't exactly stop it either. The thrill was just too much, and though she came from a relatively well to do family, she was still a young college student, and was only sent a certain amount of money to get by with. It was enough to get by, honestly, but Erika wanted a gift for her boyfriend. While his ability to turn things into gold had turned his life around drastically (and in a good way), the fact remained that he couldn't put his power to too much use or people would start to get suspicious. Therefore, he and his family still weren't the richest, and it was hard for Erika not to want to get something for him.
Unfortunately, she didn't have the most savory ways of going about this task. Erika was an adrenaline junkie, but now that she was in college, she was only able to play on two sports teams - One in the cooler weather months and one in the warmer weather months. This meant that she had a lot more free time than she knew what to do with, and that she also had to find her thrills another way. Ergo, her habits had gotten worse again now that she was at college. Her ability was no help either. Or, well, it was a help when it came to actually stealing things. Fighting the urge, however? Not a chance. Erika was currently exploring another girl's dorm, trying to see if there was anything nice for Cameron within.
On the bright side, she technically wasn't breaking...just entering. The person had left the door opened a crack, but a quick run through while invisible showed Erika that no one was home. Erika remained invisible to be on the safe side, but started to go through various items in the room. Now, what would be good for Cameron? She was more caught up in this activity than paying attention to her surroundings (thinking she'd be safe as long as she stayed invisible) she hardly paid attention as another girl entered the room. She jumped at once when she heard another girl's voice, her heart racing. Yet she didn't say anything out loud. The girl couldn't possible see her there, could she? Then how did she know?

And all the things that matter most disappear
Here's a toastTo erosion and corrosion, altimzers and pain Standing out side the dorm room she peaked around the door but there was still no sign of a girl. Leela wondered if the girl had fled but that would mean that she would have seen her outside, more likely than not Leela figured she was still in someone’s dorm. Listening to her thoughts the girl seemed like she was panicking a bit wondering how Leela could see her. Standing there she was slightly puzzled but it made sense that when she looked in she could see anyone. She wondered who Cameron was, and why would they like something of someone else’s? Confused she figured the girl’s ability was either blending with colors or going invisible. “I’m not here to punish you chill out, but I doubt this girl wants you messing in her room. Have you seen her? She could take a boy down, I wouldn’t take anything from her.” It was true this girl happened to be big, not that she fat at all this girl was pure muscle and just tall. Leela had a bad encounter with her once she was running late for class and happened to bump her. The girl attempted to scream at her about ruining her pre sport meditation or something like that. Leela never bumped in to that girl again and the girl hadn’t even glanced her way. She figured that leaving this one alone would be the bet option for who ever it was in the room. Not that what the girl in side the dorm was doing to best thing, but at the same time she didn’t want this girl to go unwarned either. Leela liked helping people out even when they were in a tough situation like this one. Not to mention they were in college so if this girl felt like this is what she had to do Leela wasn’t her mother, but she wouldn’t mind helping out if the girl allowed. “So why don’t you come out of that room before she gets back, you really don’t want to be in there when she comes back. As a matter of fact we don’t want to be anywhere near this door.” It was true, just poking around the hornet’s nest can set them off. So if they could go else where that would be golden. She just hoped this girl didn’t think she was being cruel or unusual about joking with her at first about asking her why she was in the random room. Word Count: 416 Tag:Erika/Mandee
