YOU SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL THINGright now, i really want you SOMEHOW LOST IN THE NIGHT___________________________________________ The cosmos was a clutter of crude coexistence between knowledge, awareness, coherence, imagination, and the unknown; Kat accorded to herself with humor, humbleness, and duress over the thoughts and memories she went throughout her life. It was the truth when counting the book worlds she explore and the entities she met during all of it, so it was a little wonderment to see if there are other beings and creatures in this vegue and very varied universe (or was it multi-verse?). She was sure it was a serendipity yet still a destined fate for everybody at New World Academy, however this works out for all of them.
It was an ongoing project since it was a fragmentary of what was transpiring around them and it gave them a franchise to the kinetic events they are experiencing; she mused with a smile at her revelation and moved to other stuff as she wrote some notes, which belong to a classmate. She always ask a random peer for his or her notes to see if they found other important and interesting points, making her complete notes an intrigue, and a deversified study, of her work.
The glance over her shoulder to the wall clock above the librarian's desk show her it's been three hours since entry of the library. This explained why her legs were numb and achy, one of her feet was slumbering, and the achy muscles of her back causing discomfort. She sighed deeply and stretched out her limbs to wake up and feel again, then she stood up and pack her books away carefully in her toot bag and grabbed her purse.
She was out in the corridors of the second floor a few minutes later and hurried to the stairs, so she may get to her dormitory. It took longer than she planned as something happen to delay her plans of sleeping early tonight and she was really hoping for her bed at this moment. She must be having some luck issues as she came across this event. ___________________________________________ Tags: Open Words: 343 Notes: Lyrics: LIVE TONIGHT by Cheryl Cole ___________________________________________

I wanna be yours pretty baby, Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honeyThat I'm bad to the bone Logan was wandering around the halls his video games had pissed him off. It was second to the last level and he just couldn’t beat it. He had been playing for hours and his eyes hurt anyway so he decided to take a break before he hurt his beloved X box or TV. Walking around he saw a few friends and chatted but they had other things to get done. So saying good-bye he moved on his merry way. Grabbed at his shirt it was bugging him the tag was scratching the back of his neck. He now knew why his mother always told him to cut the tags off or get shirts with out them. But he thought he knew what was best and has gotten a few with them. Now he knew never to second guess his mother. Walking up steps he was making his way toward the library. He hated that place with a passion, ok not hated but he disliked going there because he knew he had to get some studying done. Taking the stairs step by step he glanced at his feet he noticed his shoe was untied and sat on a step to retie them. Sitting there for a moment he wondered what everyone was up to. He knew for him self that his classes were done with tests and just going over new material now. He figured not every class was like his and just got things done, Logan could go study so that way he was ahead. Glancing around he figured that he had done enough cramming for a month and wasn’t going to touch a textbook till he had to. Not that he didn’t want to read the material before it was handed out but he just needed to be away from his dorm for a while. Standing back up he made his way to another flight of stairs. Walking up those he knew the library was just around the corner. Taking his time he was debating on going in to the library he wondered if he should check out a book. Then realized if only they had books on how to beat the level on his video game he was having an issue with he’d be in there all the time. The reason for wanting to beat the level he had a bet going on with a friend back home to see who could beat the game the fastest. Right now he was up by two levels but that didn’t mean anything. Glancing behind him for a moment his foot found he next step and someone in front of him. Looking back to the front he saw a girl, she looked younger than him but not by much. “I’m sorry, I didn’t even see you. Then again if I was walking correctly this whole thing could have been avoided….. wait I know you from somewhere don’t I? Wait I do from a picture, I know your older brother Jeremy. You’re his sister Kat, right? He had a family photo in his dorm.” Word Count: 511 Tag: Kat/Leah Notes: None Lyrics: George Thorogood- Bad to the bone

YOU SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL THINGright now, i really want you SOMEHOW LOST IN THE NIGHT___________________________________________ When she noticed the guy who almost step on her foot, she couldn't help seeing his attraction and handsomeness. She did a few moments of surveying him in length, noticing how he was older than her by two years; maybe around her brother's age so maybe a junior or senior college student. He had dark hair yet more brown color than her own reddish dark brown. His eyes were green and he had a nice looking smile. That dimple was teasing her when he did.
It was a good thing he stop or she might get mad at him. It was doubly good that he was apologizing too and she just shook her head and smiled like it was okay. Quite a gentlemean went through her mind as she back up a step, so a good space between them was have though she quickly felt a bit colder at her thoughtfulness to give him an area.
The young man always looked familiar to her, but she couldn't place him. Maybe it was doing the time, she went touring for colleges in Canada as she remember a man that looked like this person before her, but she didn't think he notice the girl who had her face in the book when they were touring. Once the older man who lead them jump down her throat with several questions and she surprise him by answering all of them correctly. Shown him just become she was reading a book doesn't mean she wasn't paying attention. She believe the younger man laughed at this and winked at her. It could have been something else, she didn't know.
"It's fine. I'm usually the one in the clouds and all. Yes, you look like somebody I know," she pondered. "Oh! Jeremy. You're not his friend the younger grader who was part of his business study group, were you? And didn't I see you on tour to this campus?" She tilted her head and looked curious. ___________________________________________ Tags: Shannon as Logan Grey Words: 340 Notes: Hey! I wanna be yours pretty baby, Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honeyThat I'm bad to the bone Logan watched the girl whose name he thought was Kat. He heard her say that it was ok he bumped in to her. He was just glad she wasn’t holding any books in her hands that fell down the stairs. That he imagined could be a pain to go chase after but he would have if they fell. She backed up a bit giving him some space, so Logan got off the step and on to the landing. He had been stranded on stairs before and learned a flat place and bigger space to put his feet was much better that a stair. Standing there he shoved his hands in to his pockets, he wasn’t sure if she was looking him over or just trying to place him. Although Logan never thought of himself as a hard to place person. “Yes that would be me I was in his business study group, how is he doing? And I also did that too; you were reading most of the time I want to say. It was honestly impressive that you didn’t hit in to anything. I’m Logan, I don’t know if you knew my name and if you did you probably don’t remember it.” It was true Logan was usually horrible with names but for some reason he couldn’t forget hers. He had met her a couple times, nothing more than that though. It was kind of funny that they found themselves here right now. It had been a while since they had even crossed paths in the halls or even on the grounds. One of his friends that is a girl had told him the universe works in mysterious ways. You never know where the universe will take you, but you better saddle up for the ride once she does. Looking at the library door he figured she came out of there. Not that he was trying to stereotype her but it was a fact that she read. He remembered Jeremy telling him she needed to get her head out of books and in to the real world just for a little bit. Honestly Logan wish he could consume books like that, she was an avid reader and it wasn’t the worst thing that could happen to a person. If he put half the will in to reading that he put in to his video games man he would be reading as much as Kat. “So have you just come from the library? What were you doing in there if you don’t mind me asking? It mean it’s not that late yet, they aren’t closing any time soon.” Logan wasn’t sure if he should be asking what she was doing or if she would find it noseier than anything. But it was to late the words were now out of his mouth and in to the air. Then again if she didn’t want to tell him for some odd reason she could always just ignore the question and move on to another one. That’s usually what anyone did when they didn’t want to answer something. Checking her out he looked at her brown red hair, then the soft features of her face. Her eyes were hazel like and something he could get lost in. Finally tearing his eyes away Logan ran a hand through his hair. YOU SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL THINGright now, i really want you SOMEHOW LOST IN THE NIGHT___________________________________________ He was very glad that this time, Kat decided to pack up her books instead of carrying them in her arms, or she would probably grimace at him and shouted. So, it was nice and lucky for both of them that she didn't carry them. She thought happily to avoid a chaotic event. Maybe the luck event was a good one, she mused with a smile of a beam of radiated joy.
"You were once in Jeremy's dorm when I went to visit him. If it was you, I mean," she shrugged and leaned against the railing of the stairs. "He's doing good. He's a personal trainer, and co-running his business with a friend back in Maine. What can I say... It's a talent!" she laughed joking with him, but was quite serious. "To read and walk at the same time. Big talent of mine," she asserted like it was quite an archievement to do and still pay attention to the drill her tour guide gave the group.
She glanced to the library doors when he asked about if she just came from there and she nodded, smiling brightly. She was into books and video games. She always carried at least three different game systems. Tonight she had her PSP and DS, and with varied of games for them. She wondered if he wanted to have a fun match, but it seem he was going towards the library. She noticed how he was looking at her and started consciously fixing her blouse and her shoulder strap of her bag before smiling and shrugging.
"Yes. I was looking over my notes and copying them again with a classmate's notes too. I like comparing the differences and similarities. Makes studying an interesting chore," she beamed at him as she explained herself. "You going to library?" She tilted her head slightly. "We can take an amble over again. I don't mind," she attempted to have an endeavor with him, even if her hallux of her right foot was hurting.

I wanna be yours pretty baby, Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honeyThat I'm bad to the bone Logan thought back to the moment she was referring too, he wasn’t quite sure but did remember that he was possibly there once when she did pop by. So he figured that was the time she was talking about so he nodded to agree with her. Logan listened about what Jeremy was up to now, he had him in his phone but didn’t text him much. Due to they were doing their own things now. And apparently Jeremy was doing very good. Logan couldn’t help to hope that when he was out of school he’d find something to do right away. He laughed and smiled as she told him walking a reading was a talent of hers. He figured it was a talent since he probably would bump in to a million people if he had tried that out for himself. “I think it was, but last year was such a blur and much studying, I had taken classes that were above my own, I had some how persuaded my guidance counselor I could handle it and he seemed to agree. To be quite honest I think he’s gay and likes me, not to be judgmental. And that’s good he’s a personal trainer now! I knew he would succeed he just had the drive that I do. I agree watching you reading and still answer questions the other guide was giving is talented. I remember after you all left she was so upset. I could help but laugh at her and that didn’t make things easy either.” It was true, he thought about to when all the recruitments left that she was so frazzled by the young girl. Logan had given her such a hard time too about it, not in a bad way but joking. He thought to himself that she hadn’t talked to him much after that. Not that they had even seen each other since they were just randomly paired together. And honestly she took the job way to serious for his liking. They were supposed to help people become comfortable in the college they were picking and instead she drilled them like they were soldiers. Shaking his head he couldn’t believe how she was treating them, probably thought she was too cool for them all to come to this college. Not that he knew for sure but that was the vibe she gave off. “Yeah, that would make studying more interesting, maybe I’ll pick up that study habit. It beats reading notes that you have all ready taken, not to mention people pick up different things from there notes and see things a different way. And no, I don’t go in there unless I’m going to do some hard-core studying. Where were you headed off too?” Word Count: 460 Tag: Kat/Leah Notes: None Lyrics: George Thorogood- Bad to the bone

YOU SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL THINGright now, i really want you SOMEHOW LOST IN THE NIGHT___________________________________________ If she remembered correctly she had been wearing an old t-shirt and a pair of sweat pants since she had come back from jogging and she decided at the last moment to get into the car with Grandma to visit Jeremy. He had been shock but pleasingly surprise at seeing both of them. She kept close to him talking about how were things and walked out to go to have a meal with Grandma then Kat was drop off again at the dormitory building since grandmother needed to go shopping and there had been a sale at a nearby shopping mall, so Kat walked in on Jeremy with another boy.
“Wow! Sounds like something that have happen to my cousin, but he didn't really finish all his majors," She pondered and decided to tell him, "He owns a shop now, but I think he might go back to college when his sister does to keep an eye on her," she informed him with a small giggle at how protective Frank was of Georgina, and it was just like Jeremy with her. "Yes, he loved it very much," she told him. "Thanks, it's a pleasure to serve as entertainment," she bowed on pretense and laughed at her teasing.
It was rather enjoyable for her to relax and talk with this very fascinating and handsome young man plus he had the same name as her favorite X-Men, which were, of course, Wolverine aka Logan. She was relaxing and starting to be familiar with him, as in the boy named Logan, not Wolverine. She wondered what type of powers he has as they continue the conversation.
"I found it very nice and refreshing to use the method, plus beats ordinary studying. I could help you with it, but not sure if we even have the same courses or doing the same majors. I'm doing Creative Writing and Journalism," she said offhandedly in an afterthought. "With minors in some art subjects and sciences," she shrugged and looked back at him. "What about you?" At the question of where she had been going, she beamed brightly at him. "To my dormitory, but maybe I can help you study. Even if we are in different classes and grades, I can help," she offered politely.

I wanna be yours pretty baby, Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honeyThat I'm bad to the bone “Really? Well maybe we had the same counselor, it seems like he has been here for a while. And on the prowl! Then again it’s kind of a smart move if you are in the business of finding someone younger with an education. Really now? Why would he want to come back here if he all ready has a great business? I mean just to keep an eye on his sister? I love my sister to death but college is college you just have to let them fly.”
Of course Logan says that now, as her sister is one year away from even entering college. But he won’t be able to keep an eye out for her here. She didn’t have abilities like he did, got stuck with their mothers genes. He sometime envied her for the fact she didn’t have to worry about setting things on fire. Or when she gets really angry that she could burst up in flames any moment. Around his family he mostly tried to keep his wits about him. Logan didn’t want to be holding his sister’s arms scolding her then ignite in a fiery blaze and set her on fire also. He hated his powers sometimes, but he knew he could control them better now. It was just when he was younger he had an issue with rage. Even though it’s still there he’s tucked most of it away.
“Well you quite a good job at it. I can’t even express or begin to show how angry she was. “
Smiles as she bows, she was full of excitement and humor to him all ready. He wondered why she was wandering around here instead of off somewhere with friends. Or even possibly with a boyfriend that he may or may not have. Logan wanted to ask but it seemed a bit forward. He didn’t want to scare her off, usually he would ask with out a care in the world of scaring off a girl. But Katherine was different, he enjoyed talking with her. Instead of just self fulfilling flirting that didn’t mean anything or really go anywhere except maybe a one-night stand.
“Yeah sure why not, and I’m in business. But even though we don’t have the same majors doesn’t mean we can’t study together. Plus it makes things more interesting because I can ask you many questions about your major. And we can use that as en excuse to talk while studying. See I’m a bad influence on your studying habits all ready.
Logan ran a hand through his hair, he was done studying for this week but maybe she could just give him the run down of how it worked.
“Well I don’t really have notes or anything this week to actually study. We just got done with pretty big tests in all my classes. I’m taking the week off for myself thank goodness. But maybe you can still show me how your method works?”Word Count: 495 Tag: Kat/Leah Notes: None Lyrics: George Thorogood- Bad to the bone
